42nd Annual Festival of Art, March 12 & 13
Festival of Art celebrates an extraordinary amount of arts and artists from visual arts and fine arts and crafts to glass artists, potters, painters, sculptors, watercolorists, textile artists and wood artists. The event will also hold a kid’s art alley, a culinary arts court featuring local fare and a music and songwriter’s stage.Public parking is located at The Wharf in Orange Beach and shuttles will be provided for $2.00 each way. Papa Rocco`s St. Paddy`s Day Party and Pub Crawl
Mar 17, 2016 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM More than 1,000 participants, including bagpipers from the Champion Windsor Canadian Police Pipe Band, will join grand marshal and financier, Bill McGinnes, for the Gulf Shores St. Patrick’s Day Walking Parade, otherwise known as a leisurely stroll to various downtown Gulf Shores watering holes, on Th. Mar. 17. The giant green pub crawl begins around 9:30 a.m. at Papa Rocco’s (one block north of the beach on Hwy. 59) and ends around 2 p.m. at Mikee’s. | |

2016 Wharf Boat and Yacht Show, March 17-20
The Wharf Boat and Yacht Show will offer the largest in-water display of any boat show along the upper Gulf Coast. It will showcase the latest offerings from boat manufacturers and dealers throughout the Southeast. In-water displays will allow prospective buyers to test drive the boat of their dreams before taking advantage of on the spot financing.110 in-water vessels and over 200 + trailerable boats will also be exhibited on land, and attendees will have no problem finding a boat to fit any budget. Virtually every type of vessel will be shown, ranging from luxury yachts and sport fisherman, to center consoles, cruisers, pontoons and runabouts. But it doesn’t stop there. Visitors can get their hands on the hottest marine electronics, fishing tackle, marine engines, and outdoor equipment as numerous exhibitors showcase the cutting edge in marine gear and personal watercraft. | |
